Mohan Yadav Celebrates Janmashtami, Launches Vedic Clock
Mohan Yadav attended a festival celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna in Bhopal.
He said Krishna showed people how to stay patient during hard times.
Yadav prayed to Laddoo Gopal, the child form of Krishna.
He also joined a game where a pot filled with butter and sugar crystals was broken.
Children dressed as Krishna and Radharani received butter.
Artists performed dances and dramas about Krishna’s life.
There were also Mallakhamb displays and a flower-based Holi performance.
Yadav launched a new wall version of the Vikramaditya Vedic Clock 2.0.
The clock can study some calendar calculations from about 2.1 million years ago and project them about 500,000 years into the future.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav addressed a Janmashtami festival at his official residence in Bhopal.
Yadav said Lord Krishna taught people patience and restraint during difficult circumstances.
He performed prayers, participated in a Matki Phod ceremony and fed butter to children dressed as Krishna and Radharani.
Artists staged dance-dramas, Mayur dance, Phoolon ki Holi and Mallakhamb performances depicting Krishna’s life.
Yadav launched the wall version of Vikramaditya Vedic Clock 2.0, which offers extensive panchang-based time calculations.
