Oracle graduate claims job offer revoked twice days before joining
A young man named Tejasw got a job at a big computer company called Oracle.
He was very excited to start.
But the company took the job offer away once, in May.
Later, in July, Oracle gave him the same job again.
He finished all the paperwork and even booked a flight.
Just five days before he was supposed to start, Oracle told him the job was gone again.
This made him sad, and he now has to start looking for a new job.
He does not plan to give up.
Around the same time, Oracle has been letting many employees go.
The company is spending lots of money on cloud computing and artificial intelligence.
Tejasw Agrawal, a software engineering graduate, claims Oracle revoked his job offer twice, the second time on August 13.
He was scheduled to join Oracle on August 18 and had completed the required formalities and booked a flight before the second withdrawal.
Agrawal said he had been considering other opportunities but did not proceed after being assured the offer was final.
Business Insider reported Oracle is preparing another round of job cuts before its second fiscal quarter begins on September 1.
Oracle's global headcount fell by about 21,000, or roughly 13 percent, in the financial year ended May 31, 2026, leaving around 141,000 full-time employees.
