Uttar Pradesh Trains 375 Master Trainers for Balvatika Education
The government of Uttar Pradesh in India wants to make sure little kids get a great start in school.
They trained 375 special teachers, called Master Trainers, from all 75 districts of the state.
These teachers went to a training camp in Lucknow for five days at a time.
There were seven training groups between July 6 and July 31, 2026.
They learned how to teach children through play, stories, talking, and fun activities.
They also visited real classrooms to see good teaching in action.
Now these Master Trainers will go back and help other teachers in their districts.
This will help children learn letters, numbers, and language skills in a happy way.
The plan follows India's new education policy to make early learning strong and fun for every child.
The Uttar Pradesh government has trained 375 ECCE Core Group Members and Master Trainers from all 75 districts of the state.
Seven residential training batches were organized at DDU-SIRD, Lucknow, from July 6 to July 31, 2026.
The training focused on play-based, activity-based and developmentally appropriate teaching practices for Balvatikas.
The initiative aims to strengthen Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) in line with the National Education Policy-2020.
Trained Master Trainers will lead teacher capacity development at district and block levels.
