IAF Showcases Air Power at Multinational Tarang Shakti 2026
The Indian Air Force is hosting a large air exercise called Tarang Shakti in Jodhpur.
It runs from September 26 to October 12, 2026.
Air forces from seven other countries are taking part.
Their aircraft are training and flying alongside Indian aircraft.
The exercise includes many different kinds of planes, from fighter jets to transport aircraft.
The program also includes seminars, tours, a marathon and yoga sessions.
India’s defence ministry says the exercise helps show the Air Force’s skills and supports cooperation for regional peace and security.
Exercise Tarang Shakti 2026 is taking place from September 26 to October 12 in Jodhpur and adjoining air bases.
The Indian Air Force is joined by air forces from Australia, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, France, Germany, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
Foreign aircraft taking part include the F-35 Lightning II, Rafale, F-16, A400M, MRTT, C-130, C-130J and KC-30A.
