JMI CDOE Adds 11 New Courses, Extends Admission Deadline
A university in India called Jamia Millia Islamia has a special centre that teaches students from home through distance and online learning.
This centre has announced 11 brand-new courses for the coming school year.
Some of the new courses teach languages like French, Spanish, Chinese, Persian, Arabic and Russian.
Other new courses teach photography, video editing, and how to present on television or radio.
There is also a course about computers and digital media, and one about solving conflicts and building peace.
Now the university offers 60 different programmes through this centre.
People who want to join have more time to apply, until September 8.
The university also moved the entrance test for two other courses to September 19.
After that, students will show their documents and pay fees from September 26 to October 6.
The final day to finish all the steps is October 10.
Jamia Millia Islamia's CDOE introduced 11 new certificate and diploma programmes for the 2026-27 academic session, expanding its offerings to 60.
The application deadline for CDOE programmes was extended from August 10 to September 8.
New certificate courses include French, Spanish, Chinese, Persian, Arabic and Russian, along with photography and video editing, anchoring and broadcast presentation, and Indian Knowledge Systems.
Higher-level additions include a Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Digital Media and an Advanced Diploma in Conflict Analysis and Peace Building.
The BEd and MBA entrance exam via ODL was rescheduled from August 22 to September 19, with document verification and fee submission set for September 26 to October 6.
