Government Considers Indiramma Towers for Warangal-Hanumakonda Urban Poor
The government is thinking about building Indiramma Towers in Warangal-Hanumakonda.
These would be multi-storey buildings with homes for people who need them.
MLA Naini Rajender Reddy asked for more homes for poor and middle-class families.
He said there is not enough land to build many separate houses in the city.
He also said the old Housing Board Colony has about 1,000 homes.
Many of those homes were built 40 to 50 years ago and are now in poor condition.
The MLA suggested rebuilding them as modern towers.
He also asked for another chance for residents who could not pay their One-Time Settlement dues.
