The Chinar Women’s Premier League was a cricket tournament for women players from Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.

It was held in Baramulla for eight days.

Twelve teams took part in the competition.

Anantnag Rebels won the final against Shopian Harvesters by 30 runs.

Younger players played alongside cricketers with more experience.

This helped them learn how to compete at a higher level.

The tournament also showed girls and families that women can have a future in cricket.

Major General Manoj Joshi attended the closing ceremony to encourage the players.
