Jammu Sets Two-Month Deadline for Forest Land Demarcation
Officials in Jammu are working to clearly mark the boundaries of forest land.
Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar told two government departments to finish the main survey in two months.
These departments are the revenue department and the forest department.
Some forest areas have old or incomplete maps and records, making the work harder.
About 215 areas need special joint surveys.
