A Ministry of Defence report says Jammu and Kashmir had no stone-throwing incidents in 2025.

It also says only one local person joined terrorist groups that year.

This was much lower than the numbers recorded in earlier years.

Security forces stopped all six reported infiltration attempts.

They also killed 19 terrorists in operations inside the region.

However, ceasefire violations along the Line of Control rose sharply to 163.

The report says 124 of those violations happened during Operation Sindoor.

Despite security concerns, a record 2.3 crore tourists visited Jammu and Kashmir.
