Yumnam Ajit Singh is a filmmaker from Manipur.

He says the conflict there has divided people and made everyday life difficult.

He believes making a film about the conflict could anger both sides.

This is because people might think he supports one community over the other.

Still, he may make a film about the crisis in the future.

He wants that film to encourage peace and reconciliation.

His film Sunita won a National Film Award in the Manipuri language.

It tells the story of a woman who loses her eyesight but works toward living independently.

Singh also wants people to show empathy toward people with disabilities.
