Hyderabad is running out of water in its main reservoir, which only has enough water for about 80 days.

To fix this, the city is working on a 99-day plan to collect rainwater.

They are turning old, broken borewells into special wells that can store rainwater.

So far, they have fixed 268 of these wells and are working on 143 more.

They have also registered over 24,000 rainwater collection systems in homes.

A minister said that everyone should help with this because the city is growing fast and covering the ground with concrete, which makes it harder for rainwater to go into the ground.

The water board is doing really well with this plan and has even helped some buildings to have more water in their borewells.
