Telangana Plans Raksha Expo Alongside Invest Telangana Summit
The Telangana government plans to hold a large defence and aerospace exhibition in December 2026.
It will be called Raksha Expo and will take place at Bharat Future City from December 7 to 9.
The expo will show equipment made by government companies, international aerospace firms and Indian start-ups.
Telangana wants to highlight its work in defence, aircraft and space technology.
Skyroot Aerospace’s rocket launch is expected to be one of the featured achievements.
A special area will let start-ups demonstrate their inventions.
The government also plans a pavilion about Telangana’s recent achievements and may organise an airshow.
A separate entertainment and technology event called IndiaJoy 2026 will happen at the same time and place.
Telangana will hold the Raksha Expo from December 7 to 9, 2026, at Bharat Future City.
The state says the expo will showcase defence, aerospace and space equipment made by public-sector units, multinational companies and start-ups.
The event will be organised independently of the defence expo held annually by the central government.
A start-up arena, Telangana Pavilion and a proposed acrobatic airshow are also planned.
IndiaJoy 2026, focused on animation, visual effects, gaming and comics, will take place alongside the summit.
