Chandannagar Police Unveils 46 New Mobile Units
Chandannagar Police in West Bengal opened a new fleet of 46 fast police vehicles.
They have 25 Chetak cars and 21 Bravo motorbikes.
The ceremony was attended by the police chief, a district magistrate, and two local lawmakers.
The new vehicles will be used at all seven police stations to help officers patrol better and respond faster to emergencies.
The police chief said the new fleet will make policing quicker and safer for everyone.
Chandannagar Police Commissionerate inaugurated 25 Chetak Mobile vehicles and 21 Bravo Mobile Motor Cycles.
Ceremony attended by Commissioner Sunil Kumar Yadav, Hooghly District Magistrate Khurshid Ali Kaderi, MLA Dipanjan Guha, and MLA Subir Nag.
New vehicles will be deployed across all seven police stations to improve patrolling, emergency response, and visibility.
Commissioner emphasized fleet would boost operational efficiency, faster distress call response, and crime prevention.
