Ramgarh police received 20 new patrolling vehicles.

They were provided under Jharkhand’s police modernisation campaign.

Deputy Commissioner Rituraj, Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar Lunayat and Deputy Development Commissioner Ashish Agrawal flagged them off.

The vehicles will be used in different police station areas.

Officers will use them for patrols, anti-crime checks and surveillance.

They will also help police respond faster to Dial-112 complaints and emergencies.

Earlier, police received 13 patrolling vehicles and 19 two-wheelers.

Officials said the vehicles should make police more visible and improve people’s sense of security.
