Poet Revives Azad Hind Fauj Songs For Pune Festival
The Azad Hind Fauj used songs to encourage its soldiers during India’s freedom struggle.
Only a few of those songs are widely remembered today.
Poet Pradeep Niphadkar has spent 40 years finding songs that are becoming forgotten.
He has collected more than 40 songs.
Twelve of them will be performed for the first time at this event.
