Three Rescued After Old Building Collapses in Delhi
Part of an old building fell down in Delhi’s Kashmere Gate area.
Three family members were trapped on the second floor.
The ground floor and staircase had collapsed, so they could not leave normally.
Police found them while the building was still becoming more unsafe.
Three officers entered a nearby building to reach the roof.
They used wooden stairs and planks to get to the trapped people.
The officers rescued Lakshmi Devi, Savita and Hemant Kumar.
Police blocked off the area to help prevent another accident.

Police reached the family through an adjacent building using wooden stairs and planks.
The area was cordoned off, while Fire Services and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi responded later.
