UPSC Civil Services Main Examinations Begin Peacefully In Vijayawada
The UPSC Civil Services Main Examination started smoothly in Vijayawada.
The first paper was an essay test.
There were 124 students registered at the centre.
Four students did not attend, so 120 took the test.
The district collector visited the examination centre to check the arrangements.
The exams will take place over five days in August.
Most exam days will have a morning session and an afternoon session.
Officials arranged water, medical help, security and transport to help the students.
The UPSC Civil Services Main Examination began peacefully at the Vijayawada centre on Friday.
Of 124 registered candidates, 120 appeared for the Paper-I Essay examination and four were absent.
District collector Dr G Lakshmisha inspected the centre at SRR and CVR Government Junior College.
The examinations will be held on August 21, 22, 23, 29 and 30, generally in two daily sessions.
Arrangements included power, drinking water, medical facilities, security and special public transport.
