Samara Roy started a beauty and self-care company called SAMMMM when she was 16.

She said her own teenage experiences inspired the business.

The company wants to make products for Gen Z and Gen Alpha.

Its first product was a lip tint that changes according to each person’s pH.

Investors, including Fireside Ventures and Sauce VC, provided funding to help the company grow.

The company later raised money in four more bridge rounds.

SAMMMM said its quarterly gross sales grew about 17 times during the reported period.

It also sold nearly 100,000 products through its website, Amazon, and Nykaa.
