Something very sad happened at a big hotel in Bengaluru, India.

A father named S G Imran is suspected of hurting his two little daughters, Shaik Zehra, who was 5 years old, and Shaik Zoya, who was 10 years old.

On Monday, the hotel's cleaning staff found the girls dead on a bed and called the police.

Police also found Imran hurt in the room, with a cut on his neck and a bloodied knife nearby, so he was taken to Manipal Hospital.

Police believe he hurt his daughters first, and then tried to hurt himself with the knife.

Hotel cameras showed him walking around the hotel for almost four hours before going back to the room.

Police found a note he had written.

In the note, he said he was angry with his wife and accused her of having a relationship with another man, and that he did not want his children to grow up with her.

One report says Imran is still in critical condition, while another says he is out of danger.

Police have registered a murder case and will talk to his family to find out what really happened.
