'Wanted to start new life': Bengaluru woman, lover arrested
A man and his four-year-old son were found dead inside their home in Bengaluru.
The man’s wife, Harini, called the police in the morning.
Police noticed that the security cameras had been turned off.
They also found no signs that someone had broken into the house.
Some calls and messages had been deleted from Harini’s phone.
Police said her answers changed during questioning.
Investigators allege that Harini planned the killings with Vinay Kumar, whom she had met through social media.
Both suspects have been arrested and are being questioned.
Police arrested A Harini and Vinay Kumar over the alleged killings of Harini’s husband and four-year-old son.
The victims, identified as Abhinandan and Yaduveer, were found motionless at their home in Chikkabanavara, northern Bengaluru.
Police said Harini called them around 7 a.m. Monday and reported the two deaths.
Investigators noted that CCTV cameras had been switched off, there were no signs of forced entry, and phone records had been deleted.
Police allege Harini orchestrated the murders and Vinay Kumar carried them out; both were remanded in custody for five days.
