Voltas Q1 net profit jumps 51% to ₹212.76 crore

Voltas is a big company that makes air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators and other appliances.

In the first three months of its new business year, from April to June 2026, it earned a lot more money.

Its profit went up by about half compared with the same time last year.

Most of that success came from air conditioners, because many more people bought them.

The company sold one million room air conditioners in just 81 days.

A joint venture with a Turkish company also had its best quarter ever for washing machines and refrigerators.

Some other parts of the business, like big building projects, made less money.

Orders for international projects were delayed because of a conflict in West Asia.

Still, the company says it beat its competitors and kept its strong lead in the market.

Its managing director said the results show the strength of the company's brands and long-term plan.
