LG India Q1 Net Profit Jumps 27.2%, Revenue Rises 15.5%
LG Electronics India makes things like televisions, air conditioners, refrigerators and washing machines.
It just told everyone how its business did in the first three months of its new financial year.
It made a profit of about Rs 653 crore, which is 27% more than in the same time last year.
The money it earned from selling products also went up by about 15%.
More people are buying its premium home appliances, air conditioners and televisions.
Customers also want feature-rich and energy-efficient products, and exports are growing too.
The air conditioner business is doing especially well — the company sold over one million ACs in the first quarter of this calendar year.
It hopes to sell more than two million ACs in the whole year.
The company says demand is still strong and expects to keep growing through the festival season.
LG Electronics India reported a 27.2% rise in net profit to Rs 652.86 crore for the June quarter of FY27, up from Rs 513.25 crore a year ago.
Revenue from operations grew 15.5% to Rs 7,233.35 crore, while total income rose 15.63% to Rs 7,328.08 crore in Q1 FY27.
EBITDA jumped 26.2% year-on-year to Rs 904 crore, with EBITDA margin expanding 106 basis points to 12.5%.
Home Entertainment segment revenue rose 22.28% to Rs 1,656.65 crore, while Home Appliance and Air Solutions revenue climbed 13.61% to Rs 5,576.69 crore.
The company crossed 1 million air-conditioner sales in Q1 calendar 2026, targets over 2 million units for the full year, and remains positive on its FY27 outlook.
