Apple Unveils Watches With Health Tracking and Audio Intelligence
Apple has introduced two new smartwatches called the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4.
They use a new S11 chip to process information and track health.
The watches check heart activity more often and can give users a Readiness score each morning.
That score suggests whether a person should rest, exercise carefully or do more activity.
The Health app will also show information about sleep, exercise and some health measurements.
A feature called Live Rewind can show a written version of the last 15 seconds of detected sound.
Siri Recap can create a title and summary of a conversation after it ends.
Apple says the watches do not save audio recordings and delete the raw audio immediately.
The new audio features will first arrive in beta, in English, later this year.
Apple introduced the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 with a new S11 chip and redesigned health sensors.
The watches measure heart rate more frequently and add Readiness scores based on activity, sleep, training load and vital signs.
Audio Intelligence can transcribe recent detected audio and summarise conversations through Live Rewind and Siri Recap.
Apple says audio is processed inside the S11 chip’s Secure Exclave, deleted immediately and not stored as recordings.
The Series 12 starts at Rs 56,900 and the Ultra 4 at Rs 1,09,900 in India, with sales beginning September 18.
