Benzene Tanker Leak Triggers Emergency Response In Mumbai’s Chembur
Chemical Leak Detected From Tanker Carrying Benzene In Mumbai's Chembur · NDTV

A tanker carrying a large amount of benzene began leaking in Chembur.

Benzene can catch fire easily, so emergency teams quickly went to the area.

They moved the chemical into another empty tanker.

The two tankers were then taken toward the BPCL refinery.

Officials kept people 500 metres away as a safety measure.

They also washed the road and watched the area carefully.

No one was hurt, and traffic returned to normal later that night.
