Mumbai Court Sentences Man To Life For Wife, Son Murders
A court in Mumbai has sentenced Laxman Dhangar to life in prison.
The court found him guilty of killing his wife, Parvati.
Prosecutors said he strangled her in August 2016.
They also said he killed his two-year-old son, Akil, the next day.
Parvati’s body was found after it had decomposed.
Akil’s body was recovered from a stream in Juhu.
Dhangar’s son and another family member gave evidence against him.

The Dindoshi sessions court sentenced 38-year-old Laxman Dhangar to life imprisonment for two murders committed in August 2016.
Dhangar was convicted of strangling his wife, Parvati, on August 6, 2016, after suspecting her character.
Police found Parvati’s decomposed body on August 12, six days after the alleged killing.
The prosecution said Dhangar threw his two-year-old son Akil into a Juhu stream the following day.
Family members, including Dhangar’s son and third wife Ashamma, testified against him in court.
