Onashtami 2026 Brings Kerala Dance and Culinary Traditions to Mangaluru
Srinivas University held a cultural celebration called Onashtami-2026.
It took place on 10 September 2026 in Mangaluru.
Students and teachers joined the event.
Dancers performed a traditional Tiruvathira dance from Kerala.
Another performance showed Radha and Krishna.
Hotel Management and Tourism students prepared many kinds of food.
The campus was decorated with tigers, Mahabali and other cultural designs.
University leaders said festivals help students learn about traditions and work together.
Srinivas University hosted Onashtami-2026 on 10 September 2026 at its City Campus in Pandeshwar, Mangaluru.
The cultural fest featured Tiruvathira from Kerala and a Radha-Krishna performance.
The Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism and three university departments jointly organised the event.
Students prepared and presented savoury appetisers, main courses and desserts for attendees.
Chancellor Dr. A Srinivas Rao opened the celebrations by breaking the Janmashtami handi.
