A fast train called the Duronto Express was traveling to Mumbai when someone threw stones at it.

The stones broke a window in one of the train's coaches, which was dangerous for the passengers inside.

The train staff quickly told the police, and officers went to investigate.

They found a man walking on a road about 500 meters away from where the train was hit.

The man, whose name is Sanjay Tatu Sonawane, said he was the one who threw the stones.

The police arrested him and took him for a medical check-up.

He was taken to court, and the judge decided he must stay in custody until August 24.

This is not the first time Sonawane has been in trouble for this kind of act, as he had a similar case in 2023.

Throwing stones at trains is very dangerous and can hurt passengers, which is why the police take it seriously.
