Jammu Train Disruptions Extended
Train services in the Jammu region will continue to be disrupted until June 2026.
This is because many rail bridges were damaged by flash floods last year, and the repairs are taking longer than expected.
Some trains, like the Vande Bharat Express, will start running again in April, but many other important trains will remain cancelled.
The General Manager of Northern Railway also inspected the Srinagar-Katra rail section to make sure everything is safe and working well, especially during the heavy snowfall and cold weather.
Passengers are asked to plan their travel carefully because of these changes.
The General Manager also talked to the workers who maintain the tracks in the cold and made sure they have the right equipment to stay safe.
