Record Field Assembles for 13th Women’s Pro Golf Tour Leg
A women’s golf tournament is taking place in Gurugram.
It is the 13th event of the domestic Women’s Pro Golf Tour.
A record 60 players are competing, including professionals and amateurs.
The winner will play for a purse of Rs.17 lakh.
The tournament is being held at a golf course that will also host the Hero Women’s Indian Open.
That makes this event useful practice for players.

Several other experienced and younger Indian golfers are also competing.
Some players are preparing for the Asian Games and the Indian Open.
The 13th leg in Gurugram has a record field of 60 players: 53 professionals and seven amateurs.
The domestic event carries a purse of Rs.17 lakh and is being held at DLF Golf & Country Club.
The tournament is viewed as a dress rehearsal for next month’s Hero Women’s Indian Open.
Diksha Dagar is making a rare domestic Tour appearance after taking a week off from the Ladies European Tour.
Other leading participants include Gaurika Bishnoi, Ridhima Dilawari, Vani Kapoor, Amandeep Drall, Tvesa Malik, Sneha Singh and Jasmine Shekar.
