DP World and PGTI Launch Race to India Championship
DP World and India’s professional golf tour have created a new competition for the 2026 season.
Golfers will collect results across nine tournaments in the Race to DP World India Championship.
The best 24 players will earn places in the big championship in New Delhi.
That championship will take place from October 15 to 18.
It will have a prize fund of US$4 million.
The final tournament before it will be the Kapil Dev Invitational Tour Championship.
The golf season will now finish in October instead of December.
Organizers say this timing will help Indian golfers move more easily toward playing on the DP World Tour.
