Pranavi Urs Finishes 17th as Weather Shortens La Sella Open
The La Sella Open golf tournament was shortened because heavy rain and storms made play difficult.
Instead of playing 72 holes, golfers played only 54.
Pranavi Urs was the best-performing Indian golfer, finishing tied 17th.
She shot rounds of 69, 71 and 74.
Avani Prashanth finished tied 27th after shooting 70 in the final round.
Charlotte Heath of England won the tournament by two shots.
Three other Indian golfers did not make the cut.
An earlier report had Pranavi eighth and Avani 49th before the final round, but their positions changed after the tournament ended.
Pranavi Urs finished tied 17th at 2-under after rounds of 69, 71 and 74.
Avani Prashanth placed tied 27th at even par, including a final-round 70.
Severe rain, thunder and lightning reduced the La Sella Open from 72 to 54 holes.
Charlotte Heath won the tournament by two strokes at 10-under-par.
Diksha Dagar, Vani Kapoor and Hitaashee Bakshi failed to make the cut.
