First Freight Train Flags Off at Haryana Logistics Hub

Haryana has started using a new place for moving goods by train and road.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini flagged off the first freight train there.

The hub is in Nangal Chaudhary, in Mahendragarh district.

It is being built in two phases across a large area.

The first phase has been completed.

When the entire project is ready, it may handle about 2 million containers each year.

The hub could help move cars, machines, clothes and farm products.

It is designed to connect western ports with the National Capital Region more quickly and cheaply.

Officials are asking businesses to join the project through partnerships with the government.
