Guru Pournima Celebrates Gunidas Pandit Jagannath Buwa Purohit
A music program was held in Hyderabad to remember a famous classical musician named Pandit Jagannath Buwa Purohit.

Suhas Vyas described how his father, Padmabhushan awardee Pandit C R Vyas, learned from Gunidas and gave a short recital.
Gunidas was known for compositions in Raga Jogkauns, Jaun Bhairav and Swanandi, and taught artists including Ram Marathe, Jitendra Abhisheki, Manik Varma, Manna Dey and Mahendra Kapoor.
