A well is a deep hole in the ground where people get water.

In a village called Virparda in Gujarat, India, people noticed something strange: the water in their well started moving all by itself.

It happened around 3:00 in the afternoon on a Thursday.

A similar thing had happened two days earlier.

The water stopped moving for a little while, then started moving again later that day.

Lots of villagers came to watch the strange water.

Water moving with no one touching it made everyone curious.

Nobody knows for sure why it happens.

Some people think the ground under the well might be shaky, because that area has had earthquakes before.

But experts have not given an official answer yet.
