Samula Ram Reddy Takes Charge as Telangana Bar Council Chairman
Samula Ram Reddy is the new chairman of the Bar Council of Telangana.
He officially started the job on Thursday afternoon.
He took over from A Narsimha Reddy, who had been chairman for almost 20 years.
Ram Reddy won the election with 12 votes out of 26.
Ponnam Ashok Goud received 11 votes, and Tangirala Hanumanth Reddy received three.
Chalakani Venkat Yadav became vice-chairman.
G Kiran Kumar was nominated to the Bar Council of India.
Ram Reddy has been a lawyer for 35 years and helped develop the court in Huzurnagar.
