Maharashtra CAP Registration Opens for MBBS, BDS Admissions 2026

Every year in India, students who pass difficult exams can try to get into medical colleges to become doctors or dentists.

In the state of Maharashtra, an office called the CET Cell helps give out those college seats fairly.

This year, students who passed a big test called NEET-UG can now sign up online.

Signing up started on August 6 and will close on August 12.

Students also need to pay a fee and upload their school documents by August 13, or their application will not be complete.

The office then checks everyone's documents and makes a list of eligible students.

In the middle of August, students choose which colleges they like best.

On August 23, the office announces which college each student gets.

Students who get a seat must visit their college between August 24 and 28 to confirm their spot.

This way, medical and dental seats are given to students in a fair and organized way.
