Chandrika Shrestha was trapped inside her damaged home after major floods in Nepal.

The floods happened on August 26 in the Betrawati area.

Her house was pushed about 100 metres uphill and covered by mud and debris.

Rescuers later heard a faint voice coming from the wreckage.

They dug with their hands and reached her through a window.

She was unconscious and stuck in mud, but still alive after 11 days.

She was given first aid and flown by helicopter for medical treatment.

Other rescue teams also saved people trapped inside nearby hydropower tunnels.
