Mumbai Nurse Alleges Stalking, Harassment; Police Arrest Acquaintance

A nurse who lives in Mumbai with her parents met a man on Facebook about six months ago.

They talked on the phone and were in a relationship for a while.

Then his behavior started to scare her.

He called her many times and sent packages to her house through different delivery companies.

On August 6, when her parents were sick, he ordered food online to her home without asking her first.

Late that night, he came to her building and asked her to come downstairs and sit in his car.

When she told him to stop sending the packages, he shouted at her and used bad words.

She felt very scared and went to the police.

The police arrested the man and are now investigating what happened.

Stalking and harassing someone is against the law, and police take such complaints seriously.
