AAGHOSHAM Brings Kerala’s Heritage, Cuisine and Arts to Mumbai
AAGHOSHAM is a cultural celebration about Kerala.
Shobha Pillai Coutinho started it in Mumbai in 2024.
In 2026, she partnered with Hari Ayyappan and Archers Entertainment.
The event included traditional dances, music, theatre and drumming.
Guests also enjoyed a large Kerala meal called a Sadhya.

The organizers hope to take AAGHOSHAM to other cities and eventually to audiences around the world.
AAGHOSHAM was launched in 2024 by Shobha Pillai Coutinho to bring Kerala’s culture to Mumbai.
A 2026 partnership with Hari Ayyappan and Archers Entertainment expanded the event’s production and presentation.
The programme featured Kathakali, Ottam Thullal, Chenda Melam, Mohiniyattam, music and contemporary performances.
Guests were served a traditional Kerala Sadhya on banana leaves in its customary sequence.
AAGHOSHAM Achievers Awards honoured personalities from fields including cinema, music, literature, science, healthcare and education.
