Ishi, Diya Win Gold at Youth Open Regatta

The 6th YAI GMR Sports Youth Open Regatta took place at Hussain Sagar Lake in Hyderabad.

Many sailors from different clubs in India participated.

Shringhari Roy won the Optimist Main girls’ title, and Ishi Gupta and Diya Ajay Patel won gold in the 420 girls’ class.

B. Ravi Kumar from the Telangana Sailing Association won the Optimist Main boys’ class.

The event also had international participants, like Khairul Ilzani Mohd Afendy from Malaysia.

The regatta included various classes like Optimist, ILCA, 420, and 29er.

The Secunderabad Sailing Club won the Optimist team racing event, while the Telangana Sailing Association came in second.

The event was a big success with many talented sailors competing.
