TSC Wins Finale at Hyderabad Regatta
The 6th YAI Secunderabad Club GMR Sports Youth Open Regatta 2026 took place at Hussain Sagar in Hyderabad.
Trishna Sailing Club won the Optimist team racing title against the Telangana Sailing Association.
The event featured 115 sailors in 105 boats across different classes like Optimist, ILCA, 420, and 29er.
Secunderabad Sailing Club had a great performance with Shringhari Roy winning the Optimist Main girls’ title and Ishi Gupta and Diya Ajay Patel winning the 420 girls’ category.
B Ravi Kumar from the Telangana Sailing Association won the Optimist Main boys’ fleet, and Malaysia’s Khairul Ilzani Mohd Afendy won silver in the same category.
The regatta also included sailors from various clubs across India and international participants.
