At a Teachers’ Day event in Nandyal, Minister NMD Farooq praised their important work.

He and Collector G Rajakumari honoured 45 teachers for their contributions.

Farooq said teachers and parents should help students understand new technology such as artificial intelligence.

The Collector said teachers shape society and should give extra help to students who learn slowly.

She also encouraged schools to teach communication and life skills.

Officials urged students to consider careers beyond medicine and engineering, including research and civil services.

One teacher was praised for increasing enrolment at a school from as few as 10 students to 135.
