Air India and Singapore Airlines are making it easier for people to book flights between Singapore and India.

Starting October 15, travelers can book some flights run by either airline separately through the other airline’s booking system.

The first phase includes 126 flights each week linking Singapore with eight Indian cities.

The airlines also plan to give some frequent flyers benefits on each other’s flights starting in 2027.

These may include priority check-in, boarding, and extra baggage allowance for eligible members.

The airlines say the changes are meant to make travel more flexible and consistent.
