CIAL Adds Four Weekly Bangkok Services, Expanding Far East Connectivity
Cochin International Airport is adding more flights in its winter timetable.
One important change is four flights each week to Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport.
These flights will be operated by Air India Express.
Kochi already has flights to Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport and other cities in South and Southeast Asia.
More daily flights will also connect Kochi with Fujairah, Dubai, Dammam and Kuwait.
New daily domestic flights will connect Kochi with Kolkata and Thiruvananthapuram.
Altogether, the airport will have 1,766 scheduled flight movements each week.
The airport says the changes will give travelers more choices for regional and international journeys.
Air India Express will operate four weekly services from Kochi to Bangkok–Suvarnabhumi during the winter schedule.
The schedule also adds daily IndiGo flights to Fujairah and daily Akasa Air flights to Dubai, Dammam and Kuwait.
IndiGo will operate daily domestic services to Kolkata and Thiruvananthapuram.
The winter schedule runs from October 26, 2026, to March 28, 2027, with 1,766 weekly flight movements across 32 destinations.
Weekly movements will rise 14.4% from the Summer 2026 schedule, while Kochi will gain access to both major Bangkok airports.
