Tamil Nadu Releases Rs 111.96 Crore for Crop Damage
The Tamil Nadu government has given Rs 111.96 crore to help farmers whose crops were damaged by heavy rains and a cyclone.
This money will go to 84,848 farmers in 33 districts.
The crops on 1.39 lakh acres of land were hurt by the bad weather.
The government decided to give Rs 20,000 for each hectare of damaged crops.
The chief minister ordered this help after checking the damage in December 2025.
The money will be put directly into the farmers' bank accounts.
