India Launches Energy Accelerator for 30 Deep-Tech Startups
The Indian government has started a new programme called MC²+ Ignite for energy technology startups.
It plans to choose about 30 young companies.
Each company could receive up to Rs 2 crore in funding tied to reaching specific milestones.
The programme will help startups test their inventions outside the laboratory.
They will receive access to research equipment, experts, industry mentors and pilot locations.
Participating energy companies may also help successful startups find ways to sell or use their products.
