Bonalu is a big festival in Telangana where people pray to a goddess and celebrate with songs and dances.

On a Sunday, many people went to Baswapur village and Domakonda in Kamareddy district to join the celebrations.

A leader named Mohammed Ilias came as the main guest, gave silk clothes to the goddess, and talked about how the festival shows the state’s culture and brings people together.

In Sangareddy district, another leader, T. Nirmala Jagga Reddy, also attended.

Lots of people watched performances by Potharajus, a type of folk dance, and the whole event was full of joy and devotion.
