Congress leaders offer silk robes to Goddess Bhagyalakshmi at Charminar
Every year, people in Telangana celebrate a festival called Bonalu.
It is a special festival to honor the Goddess Bhagyalakshmi.
During the festival, many people visit her temple with gifts.
This time, some important leaders from the Congress party visited the temple too.
The temple is located at Charminar in Hyderabad, a big city in India.
The leaders brought beautiful silk robes as gifts for the Goddess.
They prayed and asked the Goddess to keep the people healthy, happy, and prosperous.
They also prayed for good rainfall so that farmers can grow plenty of crops and raise healthy animals.
The leaders said the Bonalu festival brings people together and shows the rich culture of Telangana.
The temple gave the leaders a big, warm welcome when they arrived.
Telangana PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Konda Surekha, and Rajya Sabha MP Anil Kumar Yadav offered silk robes to Goddess Bhagyalakshmi at Charminar.
The visit was part of the Ashada Bonalu festival celebrations at the Sri Bhagyalakshmi Ammavari Temple.
Temple authorities accorded a grand welcome to the leaders, who offered prayers and performed special rituals.
The leaders said the Ashada Bonalu festival symbolises unity among the people and reflects Telangana's rich culture and traditions.
They prayed for abundant rainfall, the prosperity of farmers, and bountiful agricultural and livestock yields, and extended Bonalu greetings to devotees.
