Yogi Adityanath to Open Gorakhpur Women’s Shelter, Inspect Juvenile Home
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is visiting Gorakhpur.
He will open a new shelter for women who need safety and support.
The shelter cost about ₹8 crore and can house 100 women.
It has rooms for sleeping, studying, eating and medical care.
He will also inspect a building being made for children who are involved in legal cases.
That home will provide care, education, health support and skills training.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to inaugurate a ₹8.05-crore Government Women’s Shelter in Gorakhpur.
The shelter in Chargawan can accommodate 100 women and includes dormitories, study rooms, a creche, infirmary, dining hall, library and administrative facilities.
Adityanath will inspect a ₹14.87-crore Government Observation Home for juveniles being built nearby.
The juvenile facility will accommodate 100 children and include a separate block for the Juvenile Justice Board; completion is expected by February 2027.
The chief minister will also attend the opening of a seven-day Shrimad Bhagwat Katha at Gorakhnath Temple.
