Sandra Bullock Details Children’s Coping With Bryan Randall’s ALS

Sandra Bullock talked about how her family handled Bryan Randall’s serious illness.

Randall had ALS, a disease that he battled for three years.

He died in August 2023.

Bullock cared for him at home and arranged help.

Her children, Louis and Laila, could see that things at home were changing.

Louis chose to help in small ways but also created space for himself.

Bullock wanted him to continue being a child, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Laila stayed more closely connected until she later asked not to visit as often.

Bullock said she supported both children’s different ways of coping.
